Committed to a progressive world view, we specialize in books that make a difference. We choose to endorse works that large publishing houses neglect to promote from political or corporate reasons. We are proud of the diversity of books and journals published by Pardes Publishing which include original scholarly works in political science, history, sociology, gender studies, environmental studies, political geography, education, Judaism and literary theory; as well as non academic reports and publications by Israeli civil society and human rights organizations. Nonetheless, by publishing literary works of local writers and poets we seek to expose the richness and variety of current Israeli culture and society.
Among our clients are universities, academic scholars, non-profit organizations, private businesses and individual writers. We offer a range of publishing services including translation, editorial and full book production for print and electronic media, and world wide distribution.
We are highly experienced in producing multi-lingual and bi-directional publications for world wide distribution in all media formats.
Pardes publishing accepts manuscripts in Hebrew, Arabic and English that engage directly with the following topics:
- History, society, culture and politics in Israel;
- Israeli-Arab relations;
- Gender and feminism;
